It is made from Grade A Himalayan cashmere, making it extra soft against your skin. These unisex, timeless scarves make great gifts and carry a story you can feel good about!

  • Because of the hand-loomed nature of these scarves, each is one-of-a-kind and completely unique. There are slight variations in colors and patterns.

Artisan Profile

Nepal/Tibetan Himalayan cashmere is renowned as some of the softest cashmere in the world. Cashmere is extremely light and luxuriously soft yet keeps you extremely warm. Cashmere comes from the softest undercoat of a goat and it takes an average of three goats wool to make one scarf!

All of our cashmere scarves and throws are handloomed in Pokhara Nepal by blind, deaf, or disabled weavers. We partner with a local non-profit organization that provides them with the tools, training, and support necessary to become independent through weaving. In Nepal, the disabled are discriminated against in mainstream society. They have little or no opportunities for work. Weaving allows them to enjoy an independent life, increases their self-esteem and also improves the way they are treated by their family. The organization further gives back to the disabled community by donating white canes, hearing aids and wheel-chairs, providing food, medicine and essential goods for aged-care homes, helping the poor and distributing relief to earthquake and landslide victims. With such a great cause, these are our most favorite pieces!

Shop On In only carries brands shipping from USA and Canada so we can offer you, reliable shipping and order tracking.

We only ship to the USA and Canada. Local pickup is not available, we are exclusively online only. The shipping and return policies for our suppliers are unique to each supplier. Shipping times may vary. Our orders are processed within 1-2 business days. Shipping can take up to 5 business days. We appreciate your patience while we prepare your order. We will email you tracking info as soon as the order is shipped.

When returning merchandise, there must NOT be any writing, pricing, or any other marks on the item or package. The merchandise must be in the original carton and packaged properly. To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, unaltered, unwashed, and in its original packaging. Damages of this package may result in a fee.  We are not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged return shipments. We strongly encourage you to place insurance on any items you send back to us.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method (i.e., if you paid with a credit card, the refund would be issued back to your credit card).
